Strengthening a Church in a Vulnerable Community
Deep in a rural village in South Punjab, a small church gathered every Sunday beneath a leaking roof with broken benches and very few resources. The pastor faithfully served his community, but he often felt discouraged and alone.
Despite poverty and social pressure, the church remained a place where people came searching for prayer, comfort, and peace.
Through CAP‟s Church Support Program, the pastor received ministry resources, leadership encouragement, and ongoing discipleship training. The church community also received practical support to improve its gathering space and expand outreach activities for children and families.
Soon, the church became more than a Sunday gathering place. It became a center of hope for the village. Women began attending literacy classes.
Children joined learning activities. Youth gathered for mentorship and prayer.
The pastor shared:
“For years we prayed for strength to continue serving. CAP reminded us that we are not alone in this mission.”
