A Young Leader Raised from Despair
In a village in Punjab, nineteen-year-old Shazad spent most of his days wandering without direction. Opportunities were scarce, unemployment was high, and many young people around him had lost hope for a meaningful future.
Shazad carried deep frustration and anger. He believed his life would never become anything more than survival.
Everything began to change when he joined a CAP youth mentorship gathering organized through his local church.
Through leadership training, Bible study, mentorship, and personal encouragement, Shazad slowly began discovering purpose and direction for his life.
For the first time, someone believed in his potential.
Today, Shazad helps organize youth meetings in nearby villages and mentors younger boys who are struggling with hopelessness and addiction. He now dreams of becoming a teacher and community leader.
His pastor shared:
“CAP did not just change Shazad‟s future. It changed the future of many young people who now look up to him.”
