Hope Returned to a Forgotten Family

In the rural outskirts of Punjab, the Masih family was going through one of the hardest seasons of their lives. After an accident left the father unable to
work, the burden of survival fell entirely on the mother, who struggled to feed four children while caring for her injured husband.

The family had become isolated, discouraged, and emotionally exhausted.

Through CAP‟s Family Care Program, volunteers began visiting their home regularly — bringing food support, praying with the family, and helping them
rebuild stability little by little.

What touched them most was not only the practical help, but the feeling that they had not been forgotten.

CAP also connected the children with educational support and encouraged the parents through counseling and discipleship gatherings.

Months later, the atmosphere inside their small mud-brick home had changed. Laughter had returned. The children were back in school. Their
faith had been renewed.

The mother shared:

“We thought our story had ended in suffering. But God sent people who reminded us that even in hardship, we are seen and loved.”
